- Ethernet 10 / 100 Mbit (cat 5) network cable wiring pinout This is most common cable for 10/100Base-T ethernet networks. This cable will work with both 10Base-T (10 Mbit ethernet) and 100Base-TX (100 Mbit ethernet) and is used to connect a network interface card to a hub or network outlet.
