I'd like to thank Leslie Miller for her great article about Q-Link (and this web site), which appeared in the February 10, 2000 issue of USA Today. :-)

Troy Rutter (aka LtCmdrData, DataSID, etc.) has set up a great-looking Commodore 64 page, The 64 is Alive! :-)

Jon Purkey (aka Gullible, Squirrel64) has a great web page called The Squirrel's Nest. You'll find Q-Link and Club Caribe memories galore, including all the old Q-Link load screens, plus a lot more. :-)

Remember those great Q-Link SIDs by DrJ5 and UncleSlam and others? Most are lost to history, but you'll find quite a few of them (a thousand or more) at Dave's QLink SID Page. (Real Audio may be required)

Brendan Reids Commodore Wire web site is chock full of the latest information on the world of Commodore computing.

More Commodore news from Go64.

It may be new to my list of links, but Maris Q-Link Reunion Club on Yahoo! has been around for some time. Check it out!

Iain Blacks C64 Homepage is definitely worth a visit.

The Commodore Dungeon is jam-packed with Commodore info and links.

Loadstar is still around and still cranking out product for Commodore 64's and 128's.

You'll find a lot to keep you busy at the C64 Games Guide.

Creative Micro Designs, the folks who brought us the best hard drives for our C64's, has turned over publication of Commodore World magazine to CSW Verlag, publishers of GO64! The new name of the magazine is GO64!/Commodore World. Their links page has quite a few entries.

Another page that is hard to describe yet quite interesting is Mario's The Commodore (re)beginner's page.

Even though I use my pee cee for most of my computing nowadays, my trusty C64 is still set up right where it's always been, and is still fully operational. If you are one of the many die-hard Commodore users who still uses his C64, you might enjoy a visit to Jim Brain's US Commodore 8-bit Computer WWW Site.

The Great C64 Cheats Compendium with scores of C64 game cheats.

For more on the history of computing, be sure to check out The Machine That Changed The World. This site is based on the WGBH Television/BBC video series of the same name. It will come as no surprise to Commodore fans to find that this fairly comprehensive history of computing doesn't even once mention the computer that steadily outsold everything made by IBM and Apple for years, the Commodore 64. An interesting site nonetheless.

Tom R. Halfhill, a BYTE senior news editor, wrote this obituary, R.I.P. Commodore, 1954-1994 for the August 1994 issue of BYTE.
