I'd like to thank Leslie Miller for her great article about Q-Link (and this web site), which appeared in the February 10, 2000 issue of USA Today. :-)

I was a member of Q from '84 till it died.

I didn't get on as often as I'd have liked, with work and family obligations, but I was always fascinated by the graphic downloads and the chat rooms.... Not being very computer literate, I was amazed! It was a simpler time, and there were no viruses or obnoxious porno spammers but it did get somewhat R-rated at times. I enjoyed the people and the help available from both Q-Link and the people on line. Actually, I still have several C64's and used one till just a few weeks ago for my personal financial records and a few games. I bought this PC mainly for my son to use to help with his school work. I'm finding the learning process of all the software, AOL, and the "net" to be overwhelming, but slowly, I'm learning.

I still have a few Q-Link T-shirts and other products. I feel like I was a part of computer history, but I haven't chatted with anyone yet who even knows what Q-Link was!

Sincerely,

FUZZY
