INCORRECT | I disagree. I have been wiring DE-9s to DB-25s for years, on and off. Surely, the communications TXd and RXd lines should be crossed. The first column in the table shows DE-9 with RX data line on pin 3 and TX data line on pin 2. Should these not be reversed in the standard EIA-232D standard. However this is for the unusual application of a serial printer. Could this be a crucial difference? Please let me know as I am trying to modify a 9 to 25 serial cable at the moment so it works with my Print server Kyocera printer. | YES |
