There are two numbering schemes for Samsung cell phones. Sometimes pins are counted from left to right and sometimes pins are counted from right to left (phone is keypad up in both cases).

+5V (+4.2V) power supply should be connected to pins 1,2,3,5 (left-to-right numbering here and later); pins 6,8,11 should be shorted and connected to GND in A200, A288 flash cable.

+5V (+4.2V) power supply should be connected to pins 1,2,3,5; pins 8,11 should be shorted and connected to GND in A300, N400, R2xx flash cable.

It's may be neccessary to short some other pins - for example in some cables pins 14,15 are shorted (unconfirmed).
