Hallowe'en is
never pretty
and it could be made much worse by
this here ditty!
Ghosts and Goblins,
Ghouls and Witches,
Ugly Hunchbacks
digging ditches,
Cats and Lanterns,
so exciting.
Get your costume on. No crying
and no fighting.
For some fun, go
Trick-Or-Treating;
lots of pranks and
lots of eating.
Taking walks through
cemeteries,
flashlights dancing, as you run home
with the scaries.
Bob for apples.
Tell some stories.
Some are scary;
some just gory.
Scare the pants off
little Tommy.
Make him jump and cry out screaming
for his mommy.
Tick-tack fun is
so exciting,
throwing corn, then
running, hiding.
The best times are
after sunset.
There's no reason to say, "Are we
having fun, yet?".
Hallowe'en,
and all is scary.
Hallowe'en,
time to be wary.
Goblins lurk
in every dim lit place.
You know....
they can attack your face!
Hallowe'en
is trick or treating
Hallowe'en
is fun and eating
all your stuff
can make your tummy ill
if you've made
quite a kill.
Let's have music.
Let's have dancing,
lots of music,
and romancing.
'Tis the season
to be witching.
Keep alert for rabid bats and
corpses twitching.
Now it's over,
Pumpkins broken,
Candy eaten,
No words spoken.
I've a headache.
Please be quiet.
Don't remind me that I must go
ON A DIET!!!
