I still do not understand why the movie offened you so much because you go
on to say that the Scriptures will show you Jesus's humaness or "if Christ
was tempted sexually. it isn't recorded in the Scriptures!" In the movie,
the character does not have sex with anyone - he only thinks of it  - dreams
of it! If Christ was human as well as God, then He would have been temped
sexually if He was on this earth and normal! Stands to reason. 
I always did think Jesus was our example - that He did  nothing that we
could not do if we wished - or be tempted and turn our face from it like He
did!! But we use the Crucifixion as a crutch - go ahead and sin because we
are human, and then be forgiven because of the cross! Just what if God was
showing us how we could be - the way to Heaven is to be like, act like
Christ?? That He is our example? Our pattern to follow - not just to lay all

Very nice posts. I too believe that most wars are economic no matter what
the soldier 'thinks' he's fighting for.
 
But "The U.S. military establishment was probably looking at deaths in the
millions, both Japanese and Americans, and thought that 40-50 thousand
deaths, especially those of the enemy, was a better deal"!
Yeah - but it wasn't 40-50 thousand that ended up dying - more like 200,000
on the day the bomb was dropped and lord only knows how many more in the
years to come. Couple that with the military not knowing what was really
going to happen when that bomb hit civilization - you have a first class
atrocity! -=*) ANN (*=-

Did anyone see that joke in the paper yesterday about why people don't vote?
It was a drawing of all the candidates!!! Ha ha.
 
All laughing aside, I refuse to vote for any of these buffoons! When some
one like the likes of Steiger begins to look like a good choice from the
list of boobs, then it's time to NOT vote and start screeching from rage
that we don't have better choices. I still think the voters that vote for
the lessor of two evils is making a big mistake in voting at all! Sure -
you've executed you right to vote, but what is the gain? A lessor evil boob
running our state!!! Hell, in this state you can go to the trouble to vote
for your candidate, work for him, etc. - he's elected and then he's out and
someone new is in that you wouldn't have voted for if they were the only one
on the ticket, and the new one is of a different party too! Arizona politics

If you don't vote we may get the WORST of the evils!  
 
I shudder to think what would happen if Mecham is nominated.  I mean, I know
what will happen.  Glad to see you, Govenor Goddard.  
 
I really wish Steiger would win, but at this point, I think it a very far
shot.
