Actually, making drugs legal (as in passing law to allow their use)
wouldn't change anything.
It would go from drugs to something else.
(Remember prohibition?)
It would do a minute favor to some...those proponents and in favor
of such legalization who are users would die off rapidly and we could
turn around and close the books on the issue for good.
 
Your last message here indicates a good sum of hate boiling away
and being dished out in an attempt to offend. You failed to cause me
any grief or rile any despise. But I question the Rod Williams who
favors peaceful co-existance and mutual respect -- is this the same
one who writes such hate-filled anti-religious propoganda?
How does peaceful co-existance work into this current barrage of
propoganda? Are you trying to flog religion into liking you
or are you bashing Christians into loving you?
Are people's ideals, thoughts opinions and make-up a part of
your idealistic viewpoints on peace? Or do people need to change
into clones of you?
How do you propose to start making this a better world? By attempting
to aggrivate?

        At least Bush asked that the $9 Billion would come out of other
programs if Congress would cut the waste and fat from federal spending. NOT
new taxes.  You are quite when Mofford wants 44 Million in *NEW* and added
taxes on APS... and you know where that comes from...the rate payers.
Mofford's TAX that does not seem to bother you, and would be MORE out of
pocket money for *YOU* than Bush's request for $9 Billion to be cut from
waste.
        Did you listen to the Democrat response to Bush's speech?  They say
the $9 Billion is not enough and Taxes should be raised to get a BIGGER
program going to fight drugs.  That Bush's program is just too small.
Or did you turn off your TV when Bush was done?  What do you expect him to
do?  What would you do if you were Mr. President?  (Tax the snot out of us)
No matter WHAT Mr Bush does...it will be wrong...  It is a lot of HYPE for
sure, but he means well and would like to get the country behind him on this
fight.  With out the support of the populace, the fight will go no where...
So keep being negative...turn the other way and Vote your party line. And
guarantee this nation another decade of runaway drug use.
        If you ask me, it was a speech in hopes of rallying the people, and
nothing more.  The above was JUST a Counter View on the subject and not ment
to anger or upset anyone... It was said in a calm voice with a smile...

stupid laws...we probably would be better off.  Good for Bush to lead the

Hey Cliff - you might have just come up with the answer there. Lets make it
a law that ALL politicians automatically get free fishing licences for life
and it be mandatory they go - at least six months of the year. Heck - the
tax payers could even provide boats - big boats so a lot of them could go at
one time. That would include fishing gear and camping equitment too. Great

The Commandments have certainly had their place in the progress of mankind,
but not ALL that much in my opinion. I believe that man would still be in
just about the same stage of development as he is now without them. Do any
of you recall the Polynesians?  You know - the civilazation that the
Christian missionaries completely ruined - destroyed? They had never heard
of the 10 Commandments or anything like them - yet they got along fine, was
a very 'kicked back' society. No murder, robbery, rape etc. It took the
Christians to make them see the error of their ways! 

Athiests and Agnostics do not believe in them, yet I do not see them running
amok. A thinking person will know when they mature what it takes to get
along in the world, makes them happy and creative. Our prisons are full of
Christians - where did the morals of the Commandments do anything for them?
For that matter, what has other religions that have their own set of rules -
like the Muslums (sp?) - the Hindus - the Buddists - make any difference
either? Man is born with inheirent potential  to be good or evil - 99% of
the time he chooses good because it 'pays off' more than evil! It makes him
happy! 
Just think - if there hadn't been any Christianity, all those people
wouldn't have been killed during the Inquisition and the Reformation - or

        The right to bear arms is one of our constitutional 
rights. If this is to be changed we should also change the 
first amendment and close down the libraries. 
        The use of firearms in the commission of a crime is
most probable very minor in relation to the number of fire-
arms owned in the USA. 
        But the information contained in books such as 
POOR MAN'S JAMES BOND -VOLUMES ONE, TWO AND THREE are just
as dangerous.  These books tell you how to make and use the
chemicals of world war 2. They tell you how to make ricin
a poisonous substance found in castol oil seeds. This 
substance can cause inflammation of the respiratory or
gastraintestial track. So the next time you have a cold
or allegeric reaction someone may have shot you with out
firing a shot.

        Anyone using a gun is a person reacting to his
environment and not a person using his head to get
the reaction he wants.

Okay, I'm slow.  The people of the Christian religion have a book that was
written over a thousand years ago by people less knowledgable than our
current generation.  The book was put together when the people (not
necessarily the scientific community) thought that earth was the absolute
center of the universe.  And those who thought different, when found out,
were quickly put to death by the religions community.  I could go on and on
about that subject but I will spare you for now.

The book in question was written in that basic period.  Then it was
written in other languages at a still later time.

This book is what Christians base their faith upon.  Back then, according to
this book, the God frequently talked and sent messages to the people of this
planet.  Of course, by some strange coincedence, nothing has been heard
since, save for a deformed yucca branch and a tortillo, among other like
items.  Hmmmm.

Science marches on and on and on.  Die hard religionists still keep the
faith until their body and brain die.

I am aiming my messages at those who have not been 'taught' from childhood
or became brainwashed later on or even needed a crutch.  Believe me there
are much better crutches that feel much better and I am not talking about
drugs.   (next)

When I write I am doing so for my own benefit.  I save every last message
that appears on this system.  I am writing for myself for some future,
unknown, date when I will do something with my messages.

I need to write.

You will, at least, admit that my last series of messages have not been
redundant.  In fact I have enjoyed writing each and every one.  And I add
that there is not one drop of hate in me when I am writing them.  I look
forward to finding my next 'idea' to write about.  It thrills me.

I have noticed that some people see hate in my messages but that hate is
what is in their soul, not mine.  It is their, I belive, own hate welling up
when they see something that was designed to make a person think and
question their own feelings.

In any case, I am toying with doing a My Dinner With....Jesus and later on
Mary, and even a dead yucca branch.  But I have to at least have one or more
points in the message.  

Thanks for your reply.  I know within myself that I am not a straw man and
the though does not bother me.  I have been called much worse by people of

I think you will find that religion, like politics, is merely a pretext for
arbitrary persecution and other evils.  Evil people simply want to be mean,
and since one excuse (as silly as they all are) is as good as another to
them, we would have had as much violence without religion as with it.
 
I should say that, obviously, religion and politics are by no means the
exclusive domaine of troublemakers.

I may submit are a product solely of my own. SOrry, this just doesn't
cut the mustard. Communication between people rests not only on media
but on inference, nuance and intent. You can continue denying the facts
till you are 6 feet under. But it doesn't tarnish truth.
Politicians like to spread disinformation and avoid the truth. It's
the only way they can stay in office. You, much like them, have a habit
of spreading disinformation and avoiding truth.
It is a lie to say nothing was written with intent. Fact.
It is a lie to say there is no underlying purpose when writing.
It is a lie to avoid the truth.
If you keep *everything* that is written on this board..use a good

Now, may I ask what is your purpose for writing negative and

The Beverly Hillbillies show must have affected his sense of
person. He now imitates that which he for some reason despises.
Thus another example of intolerance. This is why man cannot exist
peacefully with man. "Jed Clampet" singles out a section of the
United States of America as containing inhabitants of a geographical
cess pool that deserve death and torture because of his differences
with them. Hitler singled out anybody outside of Germany as his
enemy. The Jews received extra special attention because he had a
childhood gripe and run-ins' with them. So they suffered.
The State line, to this bonehead, defines a barrier. The difference
between right and wrong is soley sequestered from his opinions
and the "line of death" becomes an icon for his hate.
 
Wonderful, isn't it? This specimen of outside human behaviour is
another fine example of why wars start and people resort to violence.
Maybe a harmless post. But this specimen user logged in and vented
blindly to several people. No care whatsoever. No fear of reprisals,
no responsibility or accountability. Cheap.
Worthless. Spineless and it proves that these cowboys of his have
more character and more backbone. I'm no Texan by a long shot,
but I think after reading that post that this chicken was 
plucked by some cowboys and can't stand up like a man/woman
and speak truth. Instead, the specimen hides behind a wall of feathers.
All the Texas boys I've ever met put their beefs on the line, up front.
