 For your information Ann, and since you have at least had the honesty to
admit your relative ignorance of the Bible, there is absolutely nothing in
Scripture that indicates that the world is only 5000 years old, or 6000, or
any other age. Neither is there anything in the Bible that shuns personal
responsibility for one's actions. "The devil made me do it" is purely a
human copout, not Scriptural. As to all the unanswered questions of science,
God has the answers, and has had for many years. You're just joning the
scientists in looking in all the wrong places. Look up.

OK - then if what you say is true in the last post - then answer a few
questions on the subject......
I have talked with countless people over the years from different religions
(Christian) that will down right argue with you that the world is only 8 - 
9 thousand years old. How come? Where do they get this? The Bible does not
state how old the earth is! They  argue that the earth/universe was made
in 6 days too.
Re: the Devil made me do it..... I couldn't tell you how many people I've
heard say that one and not in jest either. Or that God put 'this' burden on
me to test me - to make me a better person etc. etc. That list is a long
one. With the concept of reincarnation, you are responsible for the position
you are in whether it be a cripple,  mentally deranged or in perfect health.
It is what you chose - the path is there for you to follow whether you do or
not. Jesus is supposed to be our example to follow! Isn't He supposed to be

(not by choice) and you guys plan a GT?  Some friends!  I been wanting to go
to a GT since I got status, an now I miss another.  This BBS has one of the
most interesting collection of people (for lack of a better word) I have

To everyone who sent mail, thanks. It's nice to see so many people are still
around from the beginning. I've seen a lot of changes in the BBS world, and
thankfully Apollo has seen the best changes while avoiding the worst.
Hopefully, when I make my 10,000th log in around 1996, everyone will still
be here.

        Today I started my first Advance Handgun course. I am very pleased
with my shooting as I scored a 801 to qualify for a pin.  I have to do this
two more times in a row after I declare I am shooting for the pin. If I
should fail to gather a score that qualifies, I will go back to square one.
This is one reason why he has the toughest course in the nation. The
pressure is on......   Pray for me!

              If you were not paying attention, I did graduate from the
Intermediate Handgun course with honors.

              I wish some of you Apollo users would be bold enough to try
this course.  It is not for the pansy.

Oprah show?  James at U.S.M.A. would very much like to get on a talk show
since all we seem to see are wimps talking the pro-gun side... Like the
media does this on purpose.  James is a good talker, and is quite qualified.

Hey, when I began logging on BBS's in 84 or 85, I couldn't spell beans, let
alone type without carefully looking at the keys.  Now I can spell grammar. 

I feel that I have come a long way in expression of thought.  I am taking
the course on this system rather than going to Phoenix College.  Besides I
don't have the space to attend college.  -Rod
