 Yeah, darn it! I read that too. I guess there's just no way to escape
corporate greed around here. What with upping utility rates, buying
amphitheaters and sports arenas so the rich can get richer, standing by
while Fiscal 2000 pushes for more and more taxes on income and property, and
heeding Bush's call for $9 billion dollars to fight his drug war, I think
it's stop the world, I want to get off time!

Landers and the comics, that is. Then you MIGHT know that Bert Kruglik is
the man of Jewish persuasion who is opposing Terry Goddard in the upcoming
mayoral election, which should put to rest your former incorrect
generalization that "ALL politicians are Christians". Kruglik has also been
the head of the Arizona Republican party. I think as such he would qualify
as a politician.

when they have a strangle hold on you, (either pay up or sit in the dark),

        I do not think the atheist argument is BETTER than the Christian 
argument on this board...  I think Mike Carters posts make more sense than
Dean's, Ann's or yours (Rod).  I personally don't think you can see past
your own hate and would not recognize logic if you stepped in it.
        The message the Bible gives is not, and never will be outdated.  All
your posts are nothing but NEGATIVITY... there are no facts in them at all,
just twisted lies to fit your own immoral ideals.

        Here is a fact for you to chew on...  My boys go to church on their
own.  They WANT to go, I do not tell them to go.  They are polite, they do
not swear, they do not drink alcohol, they do not take drugs, they don't run
around the house naked insulting visitors.  They do believe in the Bible and
brotherhood and love.  They are TRUE Christian Children...and I am very
proud of them.  Sorry Rod... but on the above...  I can't say this about
your children.  I have been bit, kicked, swore at and a few other things I
won't get into that I happen to know as facts.  Atheist or Christian
upbringing?  Give me Christian upbringing ANYTIME...  hands down!!!!!!
And I say this from the heart!   
        Ann, you know my boys better than anyone else on this system....
Can you argue that they are not what I say they are...  And no need to fear
the PHAntom ZONE...  
        Do we want a Children GT for the youngsters of the BBS users?

        I am pleased you phoned...  We phone too..but the fact is, LETTERS
mean more...  I forget the exact number, but they say a single letter
represents over a thousand votes.  A letter taking more time showes them
that the constituents are very serious or upset.  Phone calls just don't do
the same thing.  This has been a fact for a long time and your  "rat's rear
end" opinion shows your IGNORANCE in politics.  If everyone had your
un-American attitude, we would be paying a lot more...  This is a fact Paul.

        I know you could write good letters...  But you are to busy Clowning
around or are to lazy...  get my drift!

I guess if I gave it some thought I could come up with a long list.  I think
most people like and dislike the same things.  Of course there will be
personal differences like what tastes good and bad.
I like the smell in the air after a rain, kids playing, beautiful weather, a
sunset, a beautify girl, reading, reflecting on God.  I can think of more
things I do like than of things I don't like.  I like to think positively.

   The point of all that Pinto stuff was not so much the car itself, as the
false impressions created by the publicity. I was surprised to learn most
of the information myself. I was going to go on and explore the current
climate of litigation vs. research and development, but the subject was
getting old, and I didn't want it to miss its Mark. Maybe later.
