Gloves are generally worn by persons coming in contact with infected body
fluids because there is a small possibility that the AIDS virus could enter
the skin through abrasions too small to see with the naked eye.

Even if the virus does manage to enter the blood stream, the individual
apparently does not always become infected. It is not known precisely what
qunatity of the virus is necessary to cause seroconversion.

Rod, or course every one who dies a violent death does not deserve it, nor
did I ever imply such a horrible thing. Simply because I believe, as the
Bible states, that God knows our end from the beginning, does not mean that
God has removed our portion of self-control or our freedom to choose to do
stupid things that get us in trouble, or even killed.
However, to get involved with you in this sort of discussion is to get
involved in a theological discussion with you, and this is something I
determined a long time ago to never do. TO do so would be to give you yet
another outlet to vent your unfounded and indescribable hatred of anything
connected with God, and especially with Christianity, and I just don't feel
like giving you that opportunity.
Let's leave it at that, and you have yourself a nice day. OK?

 I hear what you are all saying, Nick, JT, et al, but really, all we have is
what we read, and we have had plenty of evidence in other areas lately that
indicate that the government can control what we read, at least to a certain
extent. Scientific labs could be coming up with all sorts of information
that the government is squelching or refusing to release to the public in
fear of a nationwide panic.
I'm not saying that you are all wrong, nor am I adamantly saying that this
is happening in this case. I am just seeing that there is a possibility of
such a scenario. A colossal cover-up. A govt. sponsored denial of the
people's right to know.
Perhaps the disease is more widespread than we know. Perhaps it is being
controlled to a degree without real knowledge of it's severity being
advertised. I know that I am writing worst possible scenarios, and perhaps
am even delving into science-fiction, but even a remote possibility of such
a thing is certainly worth some consideration, don't you think?

     My opinion is only that...
Opinion.  I don't presume to say that my opinions are "Truth."  I will
not presume to say that I know what the Creator has in mind for us or
what She has revealed as truth or whatever.  I don't believe that queers
are born,  I believe that they are made so by environmental factors as
they grow up, which is why I object to having them teach my kids in
school, and why I object to having them in any position where they can
influence children.  Kids have enough bad pressures today from broken
homes and lack of role models.

     I really don't know why She would allow homosexual perversion to
exist, and I sure don't think that what I believe in is really Her truth.

I wanted to tell you about the great time we had yesterday so you all will
do it too. We went up to Canyon Lake and went for a steam boat ride all
around the lake - for 90 minutes! What a beautiful, serene fun time and I
recomend it to one and all. It's not hard to get there - the road - highway
88 (Apache Trail out of Apache Junction) is a little curved but not too bad
and takes about 1/2 to get to the lake. The boat will hold 68 people and has
an upper and lower deck - a snack bar and restroom. There is a running
narration of the history of the area and rock formations. It runs twice
daily on the week ends at noon and 2:PM - you don't really need reservations
and the price is $8.50 a ticket. Fun for the whole family. The only thing
the boat lacked was booze, a dixieland jazz band and a Blackjack table! Ha
ha haha. 
One warning - don't bother going to Tortilla Flats which they will advertise
on the boat - it isn't a ghost town at all - the restaurant, if you want to
call it that, is an expensive burger joint - they sell beer at 100% profit
and the gift shop is real junk and outragiously priced. If you want to eat,
I recommend the Mining Camp that's about a mile from Apache Junction on the
same road. (The best ribs in the world in my opinion!) 
For you people that have boats - that lake is perfect for boating and or
water skiing or even just boat watching. I did not know this place existed
or about the riverboat until I saw a small ad in the paper about two weeks
ago. Please give it a try and you will enjoy! =+=ANN=+=

I'm married with 3 boys at home, self employed, computers are my hobby, and
I'm kind of a laid back kind of guy unless someone makes me mad.  Then I
usually do or say something I regret.  I'll probably be on
the CHR sig most of the time but will always scan the main board to see
what's happening.  I usually try to advoid arguments but often get suck into
them because I'm gullible.  I believe in God, the family, and the Great US
of A.  I'm 100% capitalist, and I will vote for Bush.
That ought to give you guys enough to form an opinion.  So, what do you
think Ann?  Will I fit in here with all the athiests, Klu Klux Klanners,
Hitler lovers, gays, Punkers, woman haters, men haters, dirty old men,
communists, capitalists, saints and sinners?  I think that was the whole

government would have a hell of a hard time covering up a disease affecting
millions of people.  Your theory has about as much going for it as the
Soviets' explanation for AIDS (it was created in CIA labs) and the

to inflict blacks).

operator who calls himself 'The Filipino Monkey' has been
interjecting jokes and taunts into radio conversations
between ships at the southern end of the Persian Gulf for at
least three years."
  According to one official, "He started out by playing music
and then by taunting other seamen, usually Filipinos, with
curses in the middle of the night."  However, his comments
took on a different tone with the escalation of attacks on
shipping by Iran and Iraq and the arrival of American naval
ships.
  In one instance, an Iranian gunboat had closed in on a

The LA Times laste week (Wednesday and Thursday) had an interesting story on
some young Satan worshipers who would torture animals.  Eventually, they
wanted a real thrill, and killed a poor kid who was just trying to be liked.
It was a wrenching story; it's hard to joke about Satanism after reading
that.
