"Last summer members of the White House Conference for a Drug Free America,
a so-called grass-roots group appointed by the president, criticized NIDA
[National Institute on Drug Abuse] for not stating unequivocally that
marijuana is addictive.  If the agency has not produced conclusive evidence
that marijuana is, it is not for lack of trying, according to one NIDA
official.  'Never has so much money been spent trying to find something
wrong with a drug and produced so few results,' he says."

It does about 10,000 numbers about every 12 hours and right now it is on
12,536...

The change over date for KMLE is supposed to be November 1st.  The new
owners are called Shamrock.  They are owned in part by Roy Disney (as in
Mickey Mouse).  This is a big buck company who paid 8 million for the
station and is planning on going head to head with KNIX.  It should be
interesting.

Thanks Ann for the welcome.  Not much to say.  Some of the regulars on here
know me from other BBS.  I used to log on here quite a while back, but Cliff
raised the shields too often for non Status users.  It was just recently I
decided to pay the $10 and get $tatus.  Hey!  Did anyone notice that I've
got $tatus.  I've always wanted to have $tatus in my life.  I'm also a
Christian and have been on the CHR sig.  That's right!  Another Christian.
