  I just found out today that I am going to be out of town when the next

        Well, because of people like that...do we want another SIG where we
can have the hobby of shooting our guns and not have to listen to the
un-educated people constantly slam us?  This was not a poem SIG. Frankly I
am tired of that kind of mentality that makes it awkward for us to post.
Maybe we can call the new SIG the [HOB]bies and Craft SIG. Input?

Posts like 4777,4778,4812,4783,4811 and some even on other SIGs we just
don't need....even though they have the right to their views.....  I feel
this shied some users from joining in, and that bothers me.  Anyone wanting
to have and join a SIG like this can leave me PRIVATE mail so their name
won't be picked on by uggg (Gun Haters).

I asked this to be put up as a vote before, and was told that I was a
"friend," and that no one would want me to leave. Well, I suspect things
have changed lately. I've spoken my thoughts, pissed most people off, and
bruised some egos. Well, I say THIS time, we put this to a [V]ote and make
it stick.

        You are entitled to your opinions....  This was not a slam on you!
It's just some people on here are not secure in mentioning they like to
shoot when they see such posts as that.  Of course you are a part of Apollo,
just not the Gun Club so to say.   No one bothers you on your music SIG
including me...and most know how I do NOT like todays MUSic!   So why can't
we have a SIG that will not offend you, and will let us discuss our hobbies
without wading though anti Gun posts or listening to someone post they want
to supply Drugs?   We have a [CHR]istain SIG that you are part of where you
can post without ridicule.
        The first time it was maybe taken as a joke... the second and third
time we saw you marching with your picket sign!....  ha ha ha   ((Grin))

soliloquies. I would just personally like to know if I am, in the eyes of

I have never said nor implied that most child molestors are Christians. 
What I said was that if the statistics James Hawley gave (which I question
myself) are correct, that by itself doesn't say anything unless compared
with the percentage of Christians in the population at large.  You infer too
much from my message.  I don't think that anyone who thinks God exists is
"quite mixed up in the head".  While I don't think there is sufficient
evidence to support the existence of God, others do.  That need not make
them irrational or insane.
   (By the way, how could the statistics both be correct and also be based
on false information?  That's a contradiction.)

The Constitution says "Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment of religion ..."  This is a much broader concept than merely
prohibiting governmental establishment of religion.  Or so says the Supreme
Court.

     Why such a fuss over In God We Trust? We all have a god of
some sort even if it is the person that looks back at you in
a mirror. The "In God We Trust" on our money does not say
what kind of a God to trust. Perhaps it is the God Gold, or
Rod's God "Rod" Or for some a Snake, All "In God  We Trust  "
Is telling us is to trust you're God Not someone else..So
there is no need to fuss over such a little thing.
 
If we can come up with enough of the bills that say In God We
Trust on them the National Debt could be paid , and we could
live happy in our FAIRY TALE World.........

  To ensure that Nicaragua will become part of "the 
Commie-dominated bloc of slave states," the US has been 
waging a proxy war of mounting intensity against Nicaragua
while blocking any source of arms from other than the 
preferred source: the USSR and its clients.  This serves a
dual purpose: (1) to maintain a level of destruction and
terror sufficient to reduce the danger of constructive 
developments in Nicaragua, and (2) to justify these efforts
on the grounds of self-defense against the Evil Empire.  In
March 1983, Under Secretary of Defense Fred Ikle testified
before Congress that the USSR had provided $440 million in 
aid to Nicaragua since the revolution while "express((ing))
irritation" that nearly four times that much, some $1.6 
billion, had come from non-Soviet sources, mostly what he 
called "misguided" European governments.  The US has 
predictably devoted itself to terminating this pluralism and
ensuring sole dependency on the Evil Empire.  "In 1982, the
French sold Nicaragua about $17 million worth of arms before
US anger made them steer clear of sending any more military 
items into the area," the press reports; the statement is 
only partly true, since France, which will gladly sell arms
to the devil himself unless prevented by higher authority, 
may continue to provide state terrorists in El Salvador and
Guatemala with the required means of destruction, with our
full acquiescence.  But only the Soviet bloc is permitted to
provide Nicaragua with arms for self-defense against our
attack.
  When arms do not flow at the approved level from our 
favored source, US propaganda invents the required facts, as
in the case of Guatemala in 1954, or the guerrillas in El 
Salvador during the Reagan years. 
  Much the same is true in the case of Maoist China and
Castro's Cuba, among other examples; in the former case, the
US not only helped create a Sino-Soviet bloc that was not
inevitable, given longstanding conflicts between the Chinese
Communists and the USSR that extend back to the Chinese Civil
War, but even insisted with some passion that the Sino-Soviet
bloc remained solid when it was evident to any rational 
observer that it was riven by deep conflicts.  The important
point is that such behavior is systematic and quite rational,
given the guiding geopolitical conceptions, which are 
essentially invariant, since they are rooted in the 
unchanging institutional structure of ownership and
domination in our own society.
