No, I didn't see 'ol Carl. What's he talking about?

Interesting that only one month after the import ban was placed on the
AK-47, there is already a black market for them. Capitalism at work, I
guess. Asshole politicians can't understand that the same thing applies to
drugs.

I read your story briefly as it was downloading and then again later and
then again! Terrific! You definately have writting talent and ought to
persue (sp? ha) it. I also liked Deans and he has talent too - however,
didn't enjoy it as much because it's the kind of story that I'm not crazy
about - sort of Dungeons & Dragons - you know. My story was not meant to be
the least bit funny! Sometimes I feel the moralist would like to see the
Inquisition come back and the burning at the stake of all the heretics!
See you later. -=*) ANN (*=-

First of all Ben, welcome to Apollo $tatus!
The answer to your question is yes, this SIG is for those users of Apollo
who have $tatus. In other words, those who feel, as you apparently do, that
this BBS is worth at least $10 a year. One of the things we get for our
money is access to SIGS such as this. You may also enjoy the CHRistian SIG,
since I see that you also claim Jesus as your Saviour.
The topics here are not too much different than they are on the main BBS.
It's just not quite as crowded, and we (in our vanity) like to think that
the quality of message content here is a bit better at least.
Good to have you with us, and once again, welcome. God bless.

Comparing the stories submitted by Ann and Rod, I think that Ann is the
clear winner in the shortness category and also in the smallest number
of Apollo members killed.
Rod wins the sexual content category hands down, and deserves honorable
mention in the category of not singling out Jim Lippard to die for a
book in which his name does not appear.
On my own behalf, mine still has the more subtle approach to brow
beating the reader, and a funnier ending.
I am anxious to see more.

Actually you are quite wrong... There is nothing wrong with Bush Company
and other places of it's nature. Just as there is nothing wrong with women
going to Chippendale shows. When sexuality is repressed, no good can come
of it.

That is also why prostitution should be legalized. While I would guess that
prostitition is main for the sake of men, women can surely have their fun

Quayle said no. The girl said, "But my life would be ruined." Quayle said,

And I am glad that as a man, you agree! Most men write it off because they
think these things are just great. Why not? It's certainly for them and not
the women! I've kind of always thought that it ought to be the same for the
women - nude male dancers, hunks advertizing cereal etc. etc. but have
changed my mind. Then men would loose some of their freedom and who needs to
watch a TV commercial for toothpaste with a naked man looking into the

sometimes, I still wonder why we need places like that. Whats the real
purpose. Turn on? If so, why? You can't take it home with you!
Re: prostitution - I've always been for legalizing it. If that's the way a
woman wants to make a living, that ought to be up to her. BTW - there is one
thing I DON'T agree with - Prostitutes do not have fun doing it. It is a
degrading job legal or not. I hardly think the 'Johns' treat them with the
utmost respect and neither does society.
Your last comment - "what is wrong with a woman showing her assets?"
A woman has many assets. She not just a piece of tail. However, sometimes
they act like thats all they are. -=*) ANN (*=-

It is all so totally silly. Why should a woman parade herself around in a
bathing suit and be judged on whether she's better looking than the other
women? She gets all sorts of awards, fame and glory for nothing other than
being born to look the way she does. Also, where is MR. America contests?
Lets judge the men on their looks alone? Lets strip him down and put him on
display. Forget his brain, just look at the pectorals, his chest, his bulge!
Re: the Swim suit edition - that's even sillier. What are all these 'air
brushed' pictures of women, posed provocatively, with a look on their faces
like 'come and get it' got to do with sports? I'm talking football, baseball
etc. here! I've seen hunting magazines with beautiful women in string
bikinis on the front, holding a rifle in one hand and the antlers of a dead
buck in the other like she shot it herself in that get up. Whats the
purpose? -=*) ANN (*=-

Did you happen to read the article in the paper (5/8/89) about a group
called 'Freemen'? The more I read, the more I liked what they were doing.
They don't pay taxes, register their cars or obtain drivers licenses for a
start. Whee! Think I'll join! -=*) ANN (*=-

How do you know that prostitutes don't enjoy their jobs? Maybe *you* would
not enjoy doing it. I don't think that people working at McDonalds could
enjoy it at all. They are degrading themselves, working for low wages with
little hope for real advancement. Despite that, many people do enjoy
working at McDonalds.

I could probably dig up some references to prostitutes who enjoy their job.

Fine, so you do not care for beauty contests or pictures of women in
swimsuits. You are free to have your own tastes. But you have yet to
explain how any of this diminishes anyone's freedom. Has anyone held you at
gunpoint and forced you to participate in a beauty contest?

Crime on the street is caused by a corrupt society. Crime filters
down from the top and ends up in the street. We're not going to see less
crime in the streets, even if we build 10,000 new prisons, until we have
intelligent people in government. I fear that this won't come to pass
during this life time. Politicians are not good examples nor are our
so-called religious leaders. I'm afraid we're #%^@#@. -Rod

You fall over yourself talking about what you believe to be mistakes
in the Bible, but when you make a MAJOR blunder... you chalk it off so
quickly??? I was led to believe (by you) that you were better than everyone
else including God.

Black female and white male.... so what does that have to do with
ending the discrimination problem? You are not consistent in your logic
Boanhead (can I call you that)...... First you claim we are ALL brother and
sister anyway..... So how come we have so many different races? What
happened along the way that seperated us? What would happen next time to
make if different? Come on Boanhead, let us all know and then PROVE it!
Frankly, I think you have been dicked in the ear to many times to answer any
of this.

became a great story! But I think the funniest sentence all week has been
Rod's - in his story when he is talking about Paul starting 'Clowns for
Christ"!!! Hahahahahahhaha. Has Paul read any of those stories? He should -
he's in them all! -=*) ANN (*=-

Okay, fart face, I will tell you.

My story has two endings. One you saw, the other takes longer. Listen,
there is high tech computer, radio, television, and assorted equipment
aboard the shuttle. The two surviving people would not face the same
problems that our earlier ancestors faced. They, because of no real
technology or ways to get around easily, were trapped in the same
environment for centuries. Take the people in Africa, they lived in a sun
baked desert, developed dark skin in order to survive and of course
developed their own distinct language. People stuck in all different climes
developed their own language. With the shuttle's equipment, these two new
Adam and Eves could keep in touch with their newly created tribe.
The language would remain the same, a mixture of Russian and English. This
would prevent misunderstandings down the road. People would not be as
suspicious of each other if they understood the same language. The Indians
of the American Plains fought the cowboys because of a great class
distinction. Hell, a new bible could be written even, explaining that all
people are from Cliff and Yasmin and are borther and sister. That would all
that would be necessary in that book except one could thrown in some good
common sense. But with the equipment avaliable, a new and better world
could be set up, avoiding man's earlier mistakes. If everyone today knew
that they were brother and sister in the flesh, then this would affect our
relationships with each other. Hope this answers your questions, buttface.
A rush of other ideas occured to me, for later. -Rod
