Your absolutely right about men allowing women etc. etc. ... but that will
eventually change. I'm not for a woman's world either really - it should be
a 'peoples' world!
'Burning their bras' was the most ridiculous thing - in reality or
symbolically -- that women did/could do.
BTW - I just LOVE the way men control this world - you know - all those
wars, taxes beyond belief, people starving, homeless, criminal politicians,
the atomic weapons, etc. Their doing a wonderful job eh? -=*) ANN (*=-

of every dollar for taxes? It also stated that 'in 1986, households under
$10,000 gave just about half of their incomes - 49.5% - to federal, state
and local governments!' No wonder we have so many on welfare. It's more
profitable than working for a living. -=*) ANN (*=-

I predict that the manufactures will soon sell mini-loads. That is, bullets

Well, debates must be debates, but I don't think that story-writing should
stir up any more than light-hearted jabs. When a story becomes nothing more
than an extension of a grudge, it loses my interest. Not that I am saying
that any of the stories did this blatantly, but some came very close.

How's the record business doing? I could use a few Compact Disks
but I have a hard time getting that far north. Could we order by Apollo
mail. I have all of the Beetles CDs except for one. I have most all of the
Doors CDs and I believe I have everything that Bob Dillon ever released. I
recently purchased Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention which was a release of
his in the late sixties. It is crazy and makes one realize that almost
anyone can 'do an album'. Also I picked up a Mojo Nixon CD, Mojo and Skid
Roper. It, of course, is insane. I have about 50 albums but I am
collecting slowly at this time. -Rod

I am going through a few head changes, like I do on occasion, so my
mind is busy arranging everything in its proper place. No, I have not
changed my mind on religion, I still believe it is only an opiate for the
masses although I understand that it is a necessary one. Without it many
people would not be able to cope in this fairly insane and harsh world. I
do understand that. For some reason I do not need this to comfort me but I
guess I did at one time while growing up. Some just take longer than
others, I know.

Subject: Buntz on Hill Street
Date: 05/25/89 Time: 00:26:44
Anyone else follow Hill Street Blues? We have been keeping tabs on Buntz as
the cop that kills the most people. Here is a brief history:
1) 6 shots into liquor store holdup. Was released from court earlier.
2) Pushed Kidnapper thru window. Tied to Chair. Partner killed by
Kidnapper.
3) 1 shot wounds Capt Furillo's assassin in hospital stairs.
*=* Coffey Dies *=* (this has nothing to do with Buntz)
4) 1 shot kills former partner in garage parking lot.
5) 1 shot each kills man & woman. Held up during drug buy. Killed at
Buntz's apartment with gun in safe.
6) 4 shots - Kills man busting down Buntz's door wanting to kill Norm.
7) 1 shot with rifle kills assassin on water tower.
8) 3 shots - Kills man who chopped off Buntz's pinky during an arrest and
search when Officer with Buntz screws up.
And of course, Buntz punches out the Chief in the last episode.
Sandy and I seem to watch this series over and over again.... must be a cult
TV series for us. Anyway, it is on every weekday night from 11pm to
midnight on Channel (5).
Trivia: Buntz appears early on in the series, but not as Buntz, but instead
as a crooked cop that is killed after a few episodes. Does anyone remember
his name in this brief period?
