Well, at least the Russians know a fabulous babe when they
see one.  I never thought I'd say such a thing, what with all the hirsute
babooshkas they seem to have over there, but their Miss Soviet Union blows
away anything we've had in the national beauty contest scene in at least the
last decade.

Getting back to the discussion of exploiting women - there's a new one I
read about in the paper this morning. Seems there's a beauty shop on Central
called 'Fantasy's' where all the women beauticians wear underware! --
-- you know, like corsets, bras, garter belts & hose type underware! Of
course, this is strickly a men's salon. Here are a few quotes from the
owners Nino & Joe Albanese -----
"But there are no copies of Playboy or Penthouse. Those skin magazines would
not be in keeping with the classy atmosphere he wants Fantasy's to have!"
"The stylists were selected primarily for their styling skills and not
because they were willing to work in lingerie" (HA!) "These ladies
definitely do have class!" 
Notice how the word 'class' is used and it was used very often in the
article. Makes it have a ring of elegance doesn't it? But it is nothing but
a 'whitewash' word! These women are put there to turn the men on. You can
get a good haircut all over town and much cheaper than this shop at $25!
Also noticed the word 'Lingerie'! It gives it a respectable sound. 
Also the idea there are no Playboy mags. etc. laying around. This is more
respectable than "skin magazines"??? How can any of you not see this as
exploitation? -=*) ANN (*=-
P.S. For those of you who do not see this as exploitation and are sick in
the head, the address of the place is 2813 N. Central Ave. Please walk, do
not run. You might fall and hurt yourself!

        Geesh, a feminist... People, no matter what their race, color,
creed, political preference, wealth, etc, are exploited.. Unfortunately,
some are just more vocal than others. The world is a violent place, and its
best if one learns to roll with the punches..

        Well, it seems to me that the 40 year old Cold War may be coming to
an end here shortly. I just hope that the reforms in the Soviet Union, and
the student protests in China do not backfire. Then things might get mighty
messy!

        James, we people could revolt against our present politicians with
out spilling a drop of BLOOD!   If we *ALL* voted Libertarian in the next
election, it may send a message....
        The problem is, we keep the same people/parties in office even when
we are not happy with their performance.   Another problem, is that we made
it only practical for RICH people to run for office, and we all know that
they are not there for the money, but for the POWER.  Do the rich really
know what it is like for the low to middle class people to be paying such a
heavy tax burden?  The only answer they have is to pass more LAWs and to
raise more taxes to pay for the added confusion.  Just how many more stupid
laws do we need?
        Answer:  When there are no freedoms left and we are not allowed to
do ANYTHING....is when they will stop making new laws.

        A better Answer:  Rip it all down and start over again with the
BASICS! ------> Be a responsible person, Do not Steal, Do not Kill.  To put
the quality of life back on the shoulders to which it belongs, we the
people.   NOT the Government!

        Yes, I would like to see some change.... but as long as John Doe has
his beer and can kick back and watch the Ball Game on TV, we are not going
to do a thing.... sigh!

        I could have written that same message.  Good show.  By the way, I
have been checking the major news channels and there hasn't been a word on
the People's Park sit-in.  I think the government wants, very much, for this
not to happen.  
        Has anyone from the universities heard about any student un-rest,
recently?
        Sounds like a much needed revolution may be brewing or perhaps I am
just imagining it.  Must be wishful thinking.  The only type of revolution I
would support would have to be the non-violent variety.  Bloodshed and I
