 That was a little over a month ago. It was also the last time anything was
posted on this SIG.
 Has everybody run out of things to argue about?
 Here's s little news item, appearing in the Repulsive several days ago. Due
to it's "finality", this is probably as good a place to post it as any.
 According to the World Health Organization, some 53,000 non-smokers died
last year as a direct result of second-hand smoke. 53,000 innocent VICTIMS
of this addiction, and the addicts keep on denying, justifying and crying
"foul".
Smoking is NOT a victimless crime!

        Not only does smoking kill people from the poison it puts into the
lungs of anyone in nose distance, but did you see the segment where over 100
little kids lost their lives in fires from the cigarett lighters in 1989
alone.  I can't recall the exact figure, but even one life for such a
worthless habit is too much.  This fire death rate was just from the
lighters such as 'BIC' and not counting the deaths from smokers falling
asleep with lit cigs.....

        I may just [V]ote not to legalize anything that gets lit and spews
its residue into the air.....

Then hell, just hide in a sealed room where only fresh, filtered oxygen is
pumped into.  As Mike Carter pointed out, the amount of pollution each
airplane puts out is astronomical.  Then add automobiles to that figure and
throw in factories plus burning oil wells and volcanos.

This second-hand plant smoke crap is just that, crap that was started by
some yellow journalist to take prissy people's minds from the real issues.

And you fell for it.

 I am aware of what you said previously Dean. I am also aware of  your
OPINION (as opposed to fact) concerning the relative danger of marijuana and
alcohol. Your statement is, of course, merely your opinion, since to my
knowledge, there has never been a scientific comparative study of the
effects of the two. I suspect that, should you be correct, it wold only be
because there are less users of pot than there are of booze.

I was going by a dumpster the other day and I couldn't help noticing a
keyboard sticking out.

It is a TRS Color Computer keyboard sans monitor and on the top it says 4K
RAM.

Does anyone have any interest in this little jewel?  I have no need for it
so I will hang onto it for a few days before I strip it for parts.

Someone has written, in black marker on the top, "Beto is a Fagget", but
there is no such spelling in the dictionary.
