        I had too many things going on.  If anyone wants to attend a
wedding/party, tonight at 113th Av. and Alabama in Youngstown.  The hall is
directly next door to the police station.  There are signs.  I'm looking on
my daughters wedding as more of a party than anything else.

        I was pointing out that Colt did a more stupid thing.  And get this
straight...  Democrats control America, and the president does not have the
power you suggest to do anything alone. 

        The comparison with Hitler and the Libertarians was to suggest the
new Socialist party was making some pretty big promises...just like the
Libertarians.  Ever hear the phase, "If it sounds to good to be true, It
probably is a lie" or "Beware of Libertarians bearing gifts"...or was that
Greeks?

        I think I want to move to Australia and let the Socialists and
Commies have this place.

Too bad Rod and Ann and Nick and Ralph were whimps and did not show.
This will prove to Nick that there are not enough interested users for
anymore GTs.  I think I will just cancel the Apollo B-Day GT right now.
We are to old for this stuff...right gang... or is that gaggle.
        But I did enjoy the company of those who showed up.
And Dean... Keep believeing in what you do.  You MAY even convert me as I am
disenchanted with the Republican party and despise the Democratic party.

  Thanks to those who made it a nice evening. We didn't have as many turn up
as I had hoped, but it made for a very relaxed and fun time.
  As I mentioned last night, I could probably use my company Federal Express
Account Number to have JT flown in for the next GT if you can't raise
enough money for a non-freight passage.

        It was in last weeks Arizona Republic, word for word.  It said, "The
Christian Minority voted against the bill."  If any of it was made up then I
would suggest calling the Republic and complaining.  I just quote facts
here.

By the way, there is a VERY interesting article in today's (SUNDAY) Republic
on the Perspective Pages.  It is written by a foreign correspondent, Stanley
Melsler.  The title is, "Returning to see a smug, scared U.S.  I highly,
highly, recommend that you read it.  It blew my mind.

Did you know that, according to the report, that if the murder rate in Los
Angeles was the same as it is in Paris, that L.A. would consider disbanning
its police department.

That the drug problem is worse here in the U.S. than anywhere else in the
world.  Hmmmm....wonder if this has ANYTHING at all to do with there being a
so-called Christian Majority here.

That the U.S. is in the top three nations for imprisioning its people.  It
goes on to say many more items of shocking interest.  -Rod

        My wife's sister has lived in that country for the past fifteen
years.  It is Socialist in nature.  They have been trying to sell their farm
in order to move out of that country.  They do not like it.  I suggest that
you check out Holland.

        Yes, Sweden, Denmark and Holland allow homosexuals to marry.  Or at
least that is how it read in the Arizona Republic.  If you think they do
honest reporting then you could also believe that in San Francisco, U.S.A.,
homosexuals can now get a permit to live together.

Homosexuals should not be allowed to "marry."  The reason we have marriage
is to provide a stable, moral environment in which to raise children. 
Homosexuals do not have children, so "marriage" for them is, at best, an
irrelevancy.

I have heard about a magazine called "The Great Apollo Debate on the
Legalization of Drugs". This magazine is reportedly the text of a debate
that has occurred on a BBS in Phoenix.  Is this the place?  The magazine was
reviewed in Factsheet Five. Because I am very interested in both small
publications and BBSes, I really would like to learn more about this.

        I think the idea of homosexuals marrying is absurd.  However, I will
not legislate their morality.  What will it hurt if they now can have a
stupid little piece of paper that says they were joined in Holy Matrimony? 
Nothing.  Let the little buggers have their fun.  The joke is on them as
well as anyone else who thinks that a piece of paper a marriage makes.
