        No, I didn't like those posts.  I agreed with all they had
to say, but I didn't like them.  Kinda reminded me of how JT used
to make excellent arguments then suddenly slip into name-calling.
        I don't think they were anything that needed [Z]apping, but
sure didn't do much to save hurt feelings.  And then you take
that new stab at Daryl.  Ouch!  :)

Found another bug in a software package today. That's #3 this week
for me on 2 different packages.
I have SIERRA and Microsoft both sweating bullets. Heh heh...you know
they're worried when the guy you talk to starts running out of
neat suggestions on what to do and starts asking you questions
like "Are you sure you're running DOS 2.1 or better?"
     "How about slowing your computer down.."
 
Heh heh....They say they're calling back in a week...
 
Dips, they should error - proof the stuff before they sell it to you!!!

        He kept telling us to read his lips.  Obviously, this was to
distract us, to keep us from noticing his nose was growing.
        Either he was lying, or he was stupid.  Can we sue him for fraud? 
I'm not sure I qualify, though, becuase I didn't vote for him.

To move that tree would cost at least $10,000 and it would probablly die
from shock. Those roots must run all under the yard. The trunk is at
least 5 foot across. Not to mention all the baby birds that would die if we
moved it. I'll bet a couple thousand birds roost in it at night.

Last night on the news they showed gays picketing the Republic because of a
cartoon that appeared in the paper a few days ago - it showed 2 gays going
into a bath house and one said something that indicated they couldn't
understand why the gov. wasn't doing more to cure AIDS! The gay pickets were
saying the Republic was showing prejudice againt them because of said
cartoon. Now - uh - stop me if I'm wrong, but the reason AIDS got started
and continues is because of what Gays 'do'??!! Right? It seems to me what
they want is for the gov. to cure the virus so that they can continue to be
promiscuous. 
I am not prejudiced againt gays in the least - to each his own, but I cannot
believe that they preform the normal sex act and this is why AIDS is with
us. Are they trying to get us to believe it's normal? Any comments?

Annie, are you trying to ignore the fact that all through Africa, "slim"
disease is spreading through heterosexual contact?  Seems like there's a
misconception here.

PS...I'm no pro or anti "gay"  (read "queer") but wish they'd take their
awareness somewhere else.

    I prefer to withhold any comments on the messages until I get a chance
to see them, but based upon what you DID write to me, Rod...
    I can see that you missed a large section of humor (with seriousness) in
my messages to you, Rod. I cannot APOLLOgize for something you missed. But
all I've done is shown that your interest for 'tree-kind' is only of as much
worth as a few taps on the keyboard. Are you upset because I discovered the
truth? Perhaps it is the fact that you can no longer sidestep the issue or
reply intelligently that causes you to break forth with the poison pen and
'self-righteous' rubber stamp.
    To be honest, I could care less whether or not you are willing to risk
your life to save a tree. I was simply acting in the spirit of discussion
and debate that has kept this board alive.
    To be honest, I believe the post that started this whole conversation,
which came from you, was as self-serving and back-patting as a message could
be. In responding (part humor, part serious) as I did, I merely expressed an
interest in finding out how true the words were. If anyone was being
self-righteous, Rod, it was you. Did I try to puff myself up in any of the
posts related to this discussion? I don't believe I did. I just sought
an answer and found it.
    Finally, I do not see myself as being any better, or 'holier' than you,
Rod, because I'm not. And I'm not saying this to martyr myself. I'm saying
it because it is true.

Okay dude, I'll upload my slimebucket messages to you in mail but not on
this log-in, later tonight (if it doesn't storm) or tomorrow.

Yes, Daryl, you have discovered the truth......I wish.

But I love you anyway.  Isn't it odd that an evil person such as I could
love such a misguided person as yourself.  Strange but I have grown
accustomed to your writing.  You are talented in the poetry department,
that's for sure and you have a quick wit too.

It's just a shame that, at present, you are wasting it on something that is
a bit out of touch with present day realities.

I picked up a copy of Chronicle of the World yesterday and have been looking
through it around the time of the Inquisitions.  The churchs are still much
the same, preaching the same tune year after year after decade after century
etc.  It doesn't change.

You must be going through some pretty distressing times as your thinking
seems to be all bible based.  Good luck, I hope everything works well for
you and the new baby.

We are expecting a new one on the 8th of July.  It will be born here at home
and if a boy I thought Zak would be a good name.  It means, "open minded."
