Gonna catch hell for those. Might even catch the Zone. And
you'd been doing so well; making some good points. Oh well.

You gotta be kidding. What is it about a Jesus that you don't understand?
If there was such a person then why worship or spend time on the dead. The
man next to you is a brother, an animal that is equal to everyother animal
in the universe.

I don't get it, you thrust a myth of death over having fun and enjoying your
brother.

You are so busy living in the past but it is possible to snap out of it. I
did.

It is a crutch of the temporary scared but your freedoms end where my nose
begins.

If you think that YOU are made in your gods image then what does your god
look like, You?

Wake up and smell the caffeine or beef fat?

I love you as a brother and openly admit that you, Daryl Westfall, has a
brother in a fairly interesting myth but I am not a myth. I am real and so
are you.

Wanna go out and glue some sticks together, we can make them in the form of
crosses and use them to scare the Vampires away. Good idea, by Jove

It is people caring about people without having the dead, which we probably
are a part of, taking up some premimum time that we could be spending with
people planting the corn or something to that tume.

Bob (C1, v.1-56)

And he saith to him, out of the desert land that Jerimian Johnson our holy
JJ, protector of protectors. Bob continues, he speaketh bull crap out of
his jaw, about Jerimiah Johnson and Son.

Well Daryl, you see that above paragraph is what, in essense, your old dead
book says. Get a new book, one by Mark Twain and they were written a
hundred years ago.

Why are you so freaked out? Don't be afraid to admit it....I've sure been
there a few times. I looked for myself and have traveled a lot of paths and
I am still on one but what you are serving is death and hell because hell is
an intregial part of your religion. I don't have a hell in my outlook
either for myself or anyone else, nay, not a thing shall burn into pain
forever and ever sayath the bob and the anti-bob.
So, get a life, my friend and make that life, life, got it?!!!
This ain't g'by now, cause I am your brother but ain't your ma.

I graduated from ASU in Electrical Engineering in 1962 before ASU became
a Computer Science university. Even then, DeVry was considered a tech
school. I have never had trouble getting a job because of my education at
ASU. I strongly recommend ASU.

What is even more impressive is that the lessons learned have been passed
from generation to generation. Thus there must be a form of communication
to pass such knowledge.

Well folks with all that negative input about DV it got me to do some
serious thinking, and there must be something to all your statements.
I am taking somebodys advice, and I'm checking out grand canyon college,
they seem to have an excelent reputation. Some body here on Apollo
recommended them, I can't remmember who that was, but I'd shure like to find
out more about them. I guess I'm just to chicken to want to go to ASU, for
fear of not being able to keep up with these young kids just out of HS.
Well I'll know more after I talked to a counselor which I have an
appointment with on Thursday.
Cliff, I'd love to come to a GT, if I'm invited.

animals as we can get. Hopefully Beauregard Dog will be there representing
his species. But what is a Thornburg? Does it have fur?

I was a bit out of it last night as I decided to take a beer from a friend
and I haven't had one in 3 to 4 years. I drank half of it and asked him if
he wanted to see what an electronic bulletin board looked like and he said
yes. Well, when I saw these self-righteous style messages from Daryl I
guess I forgot myself and replied in kind.

I hope I didn't hurt the feelings of anyone and if I did then I am sorry. I
believe it was Frank LoPinto that once said, "the truth hurts".

Cheers and Smiles and as Carol Graham has said many a time, "Purple Rainbows
and Pink Sunsets."

The tree I was referring to is the big one in your yard that shades your
neighbor and not you. Move it.

Thanks for the infor about Cujo. I think the dog that lives here has had a
deep emotional experience at its previous home. I have no idea if it will
ever recover but it sure is big.

Thank you for the kind words on my 1-4 posts to JC. I tend to take
something, anything, into the outer limits as you may have noticed but that
is how my mind works, I am told.

I am just not a down-to-earth type person.

My mother's fiance went to DV and now wishes that he had gone to a four year
college. Being an ASU Senior next year (finally) I can't say I would
recommend ASU since I have grown to hate the administration and also I am in
the Theatre dept, not engineering. But if you have the money and time,
going to a university is probably the better way to go in the long run. If
you go to DV first, you'd have to start new if you went to ASU but you could
always add on credits towards a masters or go to DV after you get a BS.

He was convicted of felony manslaughter, and served a 5 year sentence of
probation. After successfully completing his sentence, he had the judge
expunge his record, explaining why the background check later run for his
firearms purchase did not uncover that information. Background checks don't
work, *ever*!

RE: B-day GT. I wrote it in my calendar. Please post time, location, etc.

RE: Grand Canyon University. I graduated from there, in 1984, with a degree
in Computer Science, when it was still G.C. College. I can't claim that I
did not have trouble finding a job, at first, but I must attribute that to a
lack of experience, something that is a dilemma/catch-22 for all recent
college graduates. I have had a series of good to excellent jobs, and am
currently looking for another one. If you want to talk, call me during the
day or early evenng, 431-8399. If anyone has any leads on any jobs, let me
know, too. :)

Not to play the devil's advocate, but we must not be too hasty. I see
plenty of evidence of animal communication, but it is true that in the wild,
as in the wilds of civilization, the young often learn by observation and
imitation.

The word "cane" comes from the Hebrew word (rendered into our alphebet)
"qaneh", meaning a reed. Does that mean that all canes must be of reed?
Does it mean that they must be hollow like reeds? Must they be of wood, or
even organic?

The word "assassin" comes from the Arabic "hashshashin", meaning a hashish
eater. The story is rather interesting. Does this mean, though, that all
assassins must be hashish eaters?

The word "bug" comes from the Welsh "bgwan", a specter. Need I say more?

It seems to have the odd habit of graphing constant functions (i.e. y=18)

ordinate axis has its corners labeled with the same number to indicate that
the value of the function does not change.

No one asked me to zap them except for my conscience.

Daryl: You must be better than anyone on this system. It is surprising
