No, I am not a commie. I can't be one since I do not know enough
about communism, in fact I know very little about it.
I am not down on people who make it, I am down on the power brokers
who could ease the situation on this planet but choose not to. I am not
against the ghetto person who grows up to find riches, I am against the old
line war mongers who think 'greed'. I am not a bitter person, not at all.

P.S. I think anyone who knows me, understands that I am not bitter about
anything. I acccept my lot and my struggle but realize that it is possible
to make it better through some type of action. I am in a learning process
right now and what I put out and receive is greatly helping me for the
future when Apollo is gone or I have moved. I will then write but not on a
BBS. I need what is happening right now, it is my trial by fire, so to
speak.
As I said on the main board, I do not know if I am right or wrong
but damn it, I am going to learn as much as I can during this period.

Those two posts of Rod's were excellent. They were not the ravings of a
fanatic as you both seem to think of Rod at times. There was not ONE thing
in those posts that were not the truth! You can make excuses all you want
about how wonderful and great this world is - but Rod isn't! Sure, there
are many good things and people, but it doesn't erase what he is saying. I
can't believe that you are blind to them. I don't know about you David, but
Dean, you do not live in a plastic bubble, protected from the world all the
time. For one thing - you are highly interested in Libertarianism and you
wouldn't be if you thought we were free and everything was going right with
this nation! Why can't the two of you take each thing that Rod says and
think about it instead of commenting and writing off his entire post? And
David - you seem to think everything is 'hunky Dory' all the time! Don't you
ever go out of the house, read a paper or see the news on TV? What about us
shooting down that Iranian plane yesterday for instance? Do you justify
that? You also seem to be for every law that takes away another bit of our
freedom. Don't you ever think of the consequences? I'm not trying to put you
guys down - you certainly have the right to your opinions here, but can't
you for once open you minds when you read those last posts? Those wern't

Everything is not right about the world... But Rod's view is not
going to fix it, nor would I like living like Rod suggests. If he would
address problems and be open to discussion, that would be fun and we might
get somewhere. However with garbage like "tear it down and reformat" or
" let's evolve" are ravings of a nut case. Rod seems to forget we are HUMAN
and not perfect robots... there will always be 'Lazy', 'Greedy' and even
'Hate'..... Then with his view of hate to people who wish the freedom of
free thought and Religion is redicules.... Yes, the world is not perfect,
but Rod has gone off the edge.

Violent skinheads sink roots in U.S.
Hate and rock groups join in racial crimes

A neo-Nazi political movement that has produced racially
motivated crimes in England has taken root among teen-agers
in the United States with a force that has alarmed
law-enforcement authorities and civil-rights groups.
In America and in England, the teen-agers, called
"skinheads," are instantly recognizable with their shaved
heads and high-topped leather boots with white laces. But
what differentiates the white-supremacist skinheads from
teen-agers who are merely adopting the fashion is a link to
racist rock 'n' roll bands and to some of the country's most
virulent hate groups.
This month, at least five young men are facing court
proceedings around the nation in separate cases of what the
authorities believe are hate crimes ranging from
intimidation to murder. They are charged with crimes that
include the stabbing death of a black transient, threatening
a black bus driver who was a witness to vandalism and the
terrorizing of a black teacher with the demand that she pay
a "nigger tax" to walk the streets.
Of particular concern to the authorities is an
organization of young racists known as the White Aryan
Movement, which includes skinheads and has headquarters in
Fallbrook, Calif. It is headed by John Metzger, who is not
a skinhead. He is the 20-year-old son of Tom Metzger, a
former California Ku Klux Klansman who now heads the White
Aryan Resistance.
"We've been working with them for two years," said John
Metzger, referring to the skinheads. "I pat myself on the
back a little bit for organizing them. We've been able to
be an influence and fine-tune their perceptions. We're
filling a void in their lives."
An important aspect of the neo-Nazi skinhead subculture is
the racist rock 'n' roll music, and much of their
recruitment is centered on night spots frequented by
teen-agers.
In Chicago, a group that calls itself both Romantic
Violence and CASH maintains ties with London skinheads. It
sells recordings of the British racist rock group Screwdriver
as well as similar American bands like Final Solution, White
Pride and U.S. Chaos. Much of the skinheads' recruiting has
taken place at a teen-age rock club called Medusa's on the
north side.

David, your message to me that says I am hopeless was no surprise
Since it is obvious that to you I appear hopeless, the reverse is also
true, that to me you are hopeless. Your continual stream of right-winged
messages that indicate everything is okay and normal in this world
certainally contradicts my messages which suggest world ills.
Your message on taxes, which you say, have not been raised in forty
years is one such indication. I am sure you are being taught such
nonsense so that you may join the future work force of the brain dead and
thus be able to carry out the edicts of the power mongers. Knowing you, I
am sure you are receiving good grades.
Why, instead, do you not point out some of the truths about taxes?
For instance, isn't it true that the income tax laws were never legally
passed into law? Isn't it also true that many of our burdensome taxes were
only temporary measures, put there to solve a particular problem but were
never taken away as promised? Isn't, also, the national income tax a
voluntary one and that only those who live in Washington, D.C. are obliged
to pay such taxes? (I read the latter in a subversive manual)
If, as you say, we are doing so well, then why is it that the
majority of this nation are struggling to make their rent/mortgage,
insurance, utility and tax payments? Why are our cities so polluted, not
only with automobile emissions but with unruly gangs, slums and homeless?
Why is our military in many foreign nations, spending our money without
the consent of the majority? Are we protecting our children against
Communism, all the while letting them suffer with our deficient system?

If we kept out of the politics of the rest of the world and
Communism did indeed take over many other places and if it wasn't working
the people of those nations would object, causing a change. People are
the same all over this world, in that, if they are aware of being
oppressed, they will rebel. It is not the duty of the U.S. of A. to butt
in at the slightest hint of another system, other than capitalism, being
accepted by the people. Instead we are spending countless U.S. dollars on
such projects but what is really appalling is the lives that are being
lost in this endeavor, both foreign and national.
It takes intelligence to make peace, to have a smooth running
system and what the condition of this world leads me to believe is that
humankind, in this stage of development, are ignorant savages. Can you
prove to me any different? Rod
