Think of it, though... the entire world is like one big bulletin board
system, and God is the ultimate System Operator, with one heck of a "Zap,
you're dead!" button...

Is he on the Christian board? Or is that only for worshippers?

Shouldn't he be CONFINED to that board?

Should I run off and join the circus? I auditioned for the Ringling Brothers
Clown College today. I went down just to watch, but decided to do it just
for fun. I haven't filled out an application.

Yes, it does cost money to go to clown college. 10 weeks of school 6 or 7
days a week, not much time to one's self. NO WAY to support oneself while
down there... it is in Venice, Florida, and they are holding it early this
year. August/Sept/Oct -- blecch.

Nothing is scary enough to keep Mecham in office.
He griped that the recall people had never given him a reason
why he was so bad, so they came up with a 12 page list to deliver
to him at his office today.
He decided not to be there to recieve it.
Isn't that a bit juvinile????

I really don't see where the Visa debit card resembles the "national ledger"
system you described. It is simply an optional, convenience-oriented service
which debits directly to your checking account when purchasing from
merchants who accept Visa. It replaces writing a check, and prevents
you from falling into the trap of revolving payments and excessive finance
charges.

The reason Shippy's past has become an issue is because Ev (and Shippy)
have made a big deal over how Ed Buck is homosexual, and that all supporters
of the recall movement are "homosexuals and dissident Democrats." In
debates on KFYI radio, Shippy has decried Ed's "lack of morals." Huh.
Somehow, I see child-molesting being somewhat more immoral than
homosexuality.
Further, Ed Buck has known about this since January, (Shippy has admitted
this) and DID NOT BRING IT UP ONCE, DESPITE SHIPPY'S ATTACKS ON BUCK'S
HOMOSEXUALITY. Now which is more moral? Buck has *always* stuck to the
issues (the King holiday, lost convention business, bad appointments,
fumbling the supercollider project), while Mecham and his supporters have to
resort to personal attacks.

Something I've noticed about all of this.....
All the people that support the Contras, believe North.
All the people that don't support the Contras, think North is lying.

Did anyone see in the paper this morning about the guy who had the winning
$20,000 lottery ticket but didn't get it? Seems a Circle K clerk made an
error giving him a ticket that had the word "Void" on it. (he opened the
lottery board before it was time. ) That poor sucker couldn't read English
and now he's out all that money. The damn clerk could read English
though and I think the store should be liable to make up to that man at
least part of it and the state the other part. OF course Circle K takes no
responsibility and the state say "the law is the law"! IF the man takes it
to court he could possiblly win - but he'd probably end up owing the lawyer
after it was all over with. The man who had the ticket was really poor too.
Why can't this state show it has a heart and give the money to the man. ?
This incident has never happened before and probablly never will again.

You wanted your stats. to suggest that all women DO get equal
pay (.89) but my points were saying that your stat only works until
females are married, which for most people is after 23 and the jobs
men and women have then are only low paying, minimum wage ones.
Your stat does not include most women after the age of 23(since they
are married) therefore, the stat leaves out a big majority of women.

And just because you think that all feminist do not like men does
not mean that our society believes this to be true, or that it is a fact.

NO D/L's. We're a pure BBS system...(Bulletin Board...!) We're 300bps
right now, but we are going 1200 in about 2 weeks.

We've been online 1 month as of today, and over 650 messages have traded
hands (not including e-mail) and we've had over 450 callers. It runs the
speed of light, and if you didn't know it was run on a measly Commodore 128,
you'd swear it was an IBM system.

So come and see what a Commodore is REALLY capable of, and don't knock it
until you do...because I'm out to change Commodore's reputation in BBSsing.

...
But we may be better at (the sense of smell) than we
think. An average man can detect just a few molecules of
butyl mercaptan, and most of us can sense the presence of
musk in vanishingly small amounts. Steroids are marvelously
odorous, emitting varieties of musky, sexy smells. Women
are acutely aware of the odor of a synthetic steroid named
exaltolide, which most men are unable to detect. All of us
are able to smell ants, for which the great word pismire was
originally coined.
There may even be odorants that fire off receptors in our
olfactory epithelia without our being conscious of smell,
including signals exchanged involuntarily between human
beings. Wiener has proposed, on intuitive grounds, that
defects and misinterpretations in such a communication
system may be an unexplored territory for psychiatry. The
schizophrenic, he suggests, may have his problems with
identity and reality because of flawed perceptions of his
own or others' signals. And, indeed, there may be something
wrong with the apparatus in schizophrenics; they have, it is
said, an unfamiliar odor, recently attributed to
trans-3-methyl-hexanoic acid, in their sweat.

Many have noted the unique atmosphere within BBS

I've had a Visa Debit Card for 7 years or so. As far as my accounting is
concerned, it is just like a check. As far as the store is concerned, it is
a credit card. No ID hassles, just the

Yea, I'm pretty mad too, and that is another good reason to avoid that
organization.
My first reason was Circle K does not have Pepsi as a fountain drink, only
Coke, whereas Seven-Eleven has both Coke & Pepsi.
Just because Coke owns a piece of Circle K is still no reason not to serve
Pepsi.
I am going to write them a letter soon, been planning one but with this
lottery deal, I'm mad and so is my wife....what a rip.
