Thanks for the confession David! I knew it was you all along too and blamed
poor James to throw you off the track. James would NEVER do such a thing.
His integrity is high and he would never 'sculk' around at off hours.
Besides, he works all the time and would never have time for sculpting such
an enormous THANG - but you on the other hand, have lots of time off from
school! Thanks Rod for putting the idea in my head.

The kid's name is Mario, and he lives in England. The Florida address was a
misguided attempt to assist the child in reaching his goal. They obviously
got the name wrong. Anyhow, any cards you mail to that Florida address, will
be forwarded to an auction house where they will be auctioned off to stamp
collectors.

CNN reported that cards sent to the Florida address are received by one of
those foundations which grant wishes to terminally ill children.  Since
Mario has already made his record (and his cancer is in remission), they
want people to stop sending them.  The cards are given to poor children.
Apparently, Mario got the idea for this from a previous hoax.

That's a device that cleans the air by passing the exhaust gas through
plutonium."

I have heard nothing through Postal Service channels, but while listening to
the news on KFYI the other day, the item was mentioned, and they (KFYI) said
that they were investigating the story and as of that time had come up with
nothing factual to back it up. Haven't heard anything since.

The problem:
 
F(X)=LN X  (Natural Log of X)
 
Find F'(X) using the formula LIM  (F(X+DX) - F(X))/DX
                             DX->0 
Where "DX" is Delta X.
 
I've been over it a thousand times.  I know the answer is 1/X, but I don't
know the proof.  The teacher just grins, and the book doesn't have the proof
either.  Any help or suggestions?

I believe that should be 'Platinum' not plutonium, and to the best of my
knowledge, platinum has been in Catalytic converters since day one. 
Plutonium is a  catilyst, that makes fuel burn.
