Living at home at the moment, unfortunately. Summers are like that. Got
the job on the paper by pure chance. . . wrote a letter to the editor of the
section offering to do some pieces and she took a flyer on me. It worked
out well. (I'm in a hurry, if this is sounding impersonal. Sorry!) I'm
glad to hear that you and your family are doing so well. . . I think about
you from time to time. I'm also glad to hear that James is doing better,
although I'm not wild about his means of doing it. . . a little unstable.
I've been doing a LOT. . . talk to Peter (haven't really had a chance to
talk to JT) if you want to find out some of it. I realize you two aren't
talking as much, but that's the price of my being busy, I guess. . . (That
he's the one you'd have to talk to.)
It was incredible to still see you around. . . you are immutable and
irrefutable, and it is a pleasure to see your words.

1:Thanks for the letter. James Hawley has more or less stopped gambling and
2:he is looking at other avenues. I know he has quite a lot of oil stocks and
3:we are going to co-author a technical manual, due out within a year.

5:Petrisko made ALL the newspapers and local tv news a few months back. He
6:was the lead story. It seems that he just had to cut down a Yucca Branch
7:at 11th street and Van Buren because many people were worshipping it. It,
8:they said, resembled The Virgin Mary, he, he. He now runs Gallery X which
9:is located at 800 W. Madison (right in the homeless area). He is a neat
10:person.

Is ready.... Now I am off to bed (I was up all last night finishing up a
machine job)so I can deliver this VGA Computer system tomorrow (maybe)!
After setting up a 40 meg Seagate a few days ago, Ann's 42 meg Mini-Scribe
seems sooooooo fast by comparison.... and quiet! No more Seagates for me!

I think you should keep a running check on Ann's computer, at least for the
weekend. After all, you never know what might happen in the first couple of
days. Monday sounds like a good delivery day to me. Unless, of course,
that's too busy a day at the machine shop. Then, considering the fact that
you'll probably need Tuesday to rest, Wednesday would be fine.

I too was excited for Ann's new computer. In fact, I went over to Cliff's
house today to help him on his way to Ann's house - you know, setting it up
and all that.
Well, unfortunately, as Cliff and I were carrying it out the door, he
stumbled and SMASH it went on the cement.
