Somehow, since he now lives in LA, I wonder about the authenticity of
that message. Even if he did call from there, I think he would have
mentioned something about what he was doing now, or about his own BBS, if he
has it set up in LA yet.
For those of you that stay up all night like I do, KFI runs a "Best of
KFI Talk" show at 2am, where they rerun old shows. I've caught Tom on there
a few times.

Daryl, I have been giving your 'cross' question some thought but
before I tell you my opinion I'd like again to touch on being nailed
to a cross, if I may. Imagine having spikes nailed into your hands
and feet, ouch, but the pain would quickly subside, shock taking over.
This is not my point though, I've already went over that. There are
some fairly large blood vessels in our hands and feet, the immediate
loss of 'spouting' blood would end it for us rather fast. Over the
centuries there have been deaths that make the story of Jesus dying
look like childrens play.
Two thousand years ago, our main punishments were either
stoning to death or tying people to wooden crosses until dead. Jesus
was given a short cut. I would rather be nailed than just hanging
around from sunup to sundown, pooping in my pants, waiting for death.
Yep, nail me every time. On the other hand, if the story had said
Jesus was stoned to death, we would be wearing rocks around our necks,
the more devout with boulders and the churches would have these huge
'Hollywood Type' fake rocks complete with an image of our lord and
savior. No, a cross was more convenient.
A better symbol would be a Dove with a Halo, surrounded by a
Rainbow with the words, Peace-Love thereon. But, since we live in a
sick world and that we like to warp the minds of our children early in
life, we have this grizzly tale to tell, complete with a human, nailed
no less, to a wooden cross. Sort of starts their little, un-formatted
minds out into the realm of the gross. Too bad.

Now, however, it is time to shower off this chlorine and jump into bed - or
onto bed. Or does one get into a waterbed? I'm confused.

I've been to a few parties that had some of that going on.... It was at
night, so I didn't get sunburned. I won't be able to run for president
ever, though.

I consider myself qualified for the above category. The "swimming" gave way
to something more "interesting" and "multiple" (if ya knowhutimean). I won't
give details though (for free, at least.)
