(Sob) Guess we won't be seeing you for awhile! But remember - you asked for
it! And there's no one in there to talk to either. At least I wasn't alone!

Ann,
If you really had any pity on Todd, you'd volunteer to go to the Phantom
Zone with him. As a matter of fact, if everyone volunteered to go,
then it wouldn't be bad at all.....it'd be just like being on here.

Was that a post saying that YOU volunteer to enter the ntom
Zone?
About it being JUST LIKE HERE.... WRONG! No Mail except to the
SYSOP... Infact, no nothing.... just the ZONE!

No, everyone was talking when you *weren't* logging on the system. You know
how you affect people. Now nobody wants to log on anymore. Perhaps the 53
people who logged on were hoping that you were going to stop using the
system.
Oh, and I heard that 50 people didn't come to the Apollo GT because they
thought you were coming.

Yes - PLEASE elaborate about Amsterdam! By the way - Nevada has legalized
prostitution and I don't see where it's caused any problems. Their gambling
hasn't either except to fill the government coffers to over flowing. I'll
bet they don't have any problems getting the money together to build a new
freeway if they wished or new schools! Even though our state has eased it's
gambling laws (you can now gamble openly in bars with money on the table!)
we are still stuck with only the lottery and horse/dog racing. Too bad being
a bookie isn't legal - then some poor people could do it for extra cash. Or
they could set up a little curb side gambling stand.
Oh well - I guess this has nothing to do with the subject eh? =*--ANN--*=

Actually, drugs are not really legal there, but laws pertaining to hashish
and marijuana have been reduced to where possession of up to a couple ounces
carries a penalty about equivalent to a parking ticket. And it's more or
less never enforced, so those drugs are sold openly in coffee shops (just
look for the marijuana leaf in the window). This has been the case since
1978, and I believe most of the people in the legal system think it is
successful and wouldn't dream of going back.
(Sources: _The Great Drug War_ by Arnold Trebach and a conversation with
an employee at an Amsterdam coffee shop that sells hash and pot.)

All those in favor of legalizing such drugs as marijuana, hash et al
stand up and say AYE!
...and then please, instead of bugging congress, move to Amsterdam.

Thank you for the information on drugs. I suppose the system is
working for them and their economy hasn't collapsed or anything like that.
If the U.S. Government is aware of what is happening there, they should do
likewise as it would certainaly clear up MANY problems.

If the system is working in Amsterdam then I think it should be
tried here. After all, the billions of American dollars which are going
directly to foreign nations could be better used here, on this soil. We
give Mexico and some of the other Central American countries enough
greenbacks to purchase the land President Jackson stole. Also the amount of
money spend on enforcement would be saved plus many lives.
I do get the impression that some of the biggies of this land do not
want to legalize certain drugs because it would affect their personal
income. Like the Mafia probably opposes drug reform and evidently so do
you. Are you a dealer or just haven't given the pros and cons much thought?
I would love to go to Amsterdam, would you pay for my bus ticket? I
hear Holland is a beautiful place and obviously has open minded people.
Rod
P.S. Lippard, do you have any idea whether Holland is a religious country
or have they advanced in that area too?

Its......," Dean's face lights up.
"Yes?" replies the quest seekers.
Dean looks straight at the city sewer sanitation man and asks him
the question ........... "Where is Traci Sibel?"
The city sewer sanitation man ponders a while then replies, "Do you
mean Traci Sibel or Traci Sible?"
"Of course, Traci Sibel!" exclaims Dean.
"No, no, Dean." says Sandy. "I was told it was Sible, not Sibel."
A voice from the back of the Van underneath some stale, musty,
grimy, old clothes mutters, "Oh, good grief!"
The quest seekers could see the city sewer sanitation man's face
turn from his happy carefree smile to one of a somber grim stare.
"If it is Traci Sibel you want, BEWARE!" The city sewer sanitation
man approaches Dean and shakes his algae infested mop jestering for them to
leave. "The fairest maiden in the land is beyond help. Please do yourselves
a favor and leave."
"I have ventured through the VOID along with my fellow quest
seekers." Dean turns to the pile of bodies inside the van. "These brave
people, too, have conqured the VOID. We have been tested ------- and have
WON!"
"I am none to happy to send someone to their death. A slow painful
death." The city sewer sanitation man strokes his chin. "Hmmmmmm." He
ponders a while longer as he wipes the greem slime from his chin. "Ok, I'll
tell you ...........
