You bring up a lot of very good questions, Zak, and you deserve answers to
them. It might take me a while to answer them point by point, but let me sit
down with my Bible and word processor this evening after work and Lenten
service. I'll do my best.

I agree that his questions are very valid and extremely good questions to
ask. In fact, I probably couldn't have hand-picked a better series of
questions that a non-Christian might ask of a Christian. And I plan to reply
to them.

That's the problem. Lots of "Christians" with book knowledge, but with no
spirit. Some Christians live their testimony and some talk it.

I heard that the Paul McCartney crusade against the First Amendment is full
swing with the banning of all Repulic and Gazette reporters from legendary
Paul McCartney's concert last night due to an improper statement relating
to McCartney's musical skills made by an unknown reporter on the R+G staff.
Not wanting to encourage negative comments, Paul McCartney has allegedly
established a policy of massive retaliation against anyone who does not
agree that he is the greatest musician of the twentieth century.

Yes, and if wages had risen over those years, inflation would have been much
higher. Manipulating minimum wage is just pushing paper money around.

Why not let the market dictate? Some places in the country, there just
aren't minimum wage jobs. and ones that are minimum wage here, are much more
other places. They have fewer workers. Supply and demand works with
laborers, too.

Inflation is causes by an increase in the number of dollars chasing the
same amount of commodities, services, or manufactured goods. If you increase
the number of dollars, you decrease the value of any given dollar. If the
service or commodity has an value, say of 10 dollars in June and you
increase
the money supply by 10% in July, each dollar is now only worth 90 June
cents. Since the intrinsic value of the item is the same it should take 11
(approx) July dollars to buy what 10 June dollars bought. This is perceived
as a price rise. What has really happened is that your June dollars that
you worked so hard for are now only worth 90 cents each.

ROD: What do you mean, "how was she?" (Noelle) Be more specific and I
might answer you.
DARYL: I'm glad you are going to try to give an honest answer. Even though
my message had a little attitude, it was an honest question. (What is
Lenten Service?)
BEAU: What do you teach? Juggling 101? Or computers? I think I'll sit in
on your class and make faces at you and ask a lot of stupid, embarassing
personal questions. How would you like that?
E.J. Montini went for the gusto in his column today about Bob Boze
Bell's morning radio show prank. (They pretended to have McCartney in the
studio, then pretended the *real* McCartney heard the broadcast and came in
to set things straight. Both McCartneys were imposters. Everybody fell for
it.) Montini just slammed that poor Beatle.
On minimum wage - Somebody I know on the east coast has a job working
in a video store and makes about $9.00 an hour. Of course, everything there
is proportionately more expensive (rent, food, etc).

I can probably make it to an early Saturday GT. Sunday might be ok, but I
usually stay up all night Saturday and wouldn't want it early Sunday.
I mentioned that it had been my idea to video because I thought Cliff was
afraid Zak wanted to make some kind of anti-gun video out of it for wide
distribution. I wanted him to know that it would be no different than it
was when I photographed the last one. I wasn't trying to fight with Zak for
credit for the idea.

I found Melissa's story somewhat amusing, rather predictable, and confirming
of a number of assumptions I had previously made regarding her psychology.
A couple of clarifications:
I fail to see how anyone could misinterpret my statement about pussies and
lips, especially in light of the fact that I posted an erotic poem
proclaiming the joys of cunnilingus shortly after renewing my status. Of
course, the "misunderstanding" was no doubt by design. Nevertheless, there
is quite some difference between "Lips that touch pussy shall never touch
mine," and, for instance, a statement such as "my lips shall never touch
pussy." Perhaps those who find this distinction confusing should consider a
remedial English course.
Also, it has been made apparent to me that I had confused "Michelle Nichols"
with "Michelle Reynolds," our dear, familar Ms. Dee. Some of my remarks
(the joke about the prophylactic "Reynolds' wrap" comes to mind) may
therefore have appeared nonsensical, and I apologize to friends of Ms.
Nichols.
Finally, yes Zak, I am pissed off. That was, and is, the reason for my
absence, and it does no one good for me to hang around in this condition.
Have fun, Melissa.

Ever heard of a misplaced modifier? Read your second paragraph and think
about what "our dear, familar (sic) Ms. Dee" refers to.
With the confusion you sow, it is no wonder that there is so much to reap.

You would not want to touch your lips to lips that have touched pussy,
yet you would gladly touch your lips to pussy. OK, I think we all caught
that one. Thank you.
However, I think if you take your "lips-touching-pussy" way of putting
it to the limit, your entire argument gets foiled.
For example: Man #1 performs cunnilingus on Woman #1. (Man #1's lips
touched pussy.) Man #1 kisses Woman #1. (Woman #1's lips have touched lips
that have touched pussy.) Woman #1 kisses Man #2 (you) - in other words,
you, Jeff Beck, would be kissing a woman whose lips have touched lips that
have touched pussy, but not your lips.
So any basis for distaste of a given pair of lips based on what that
pair of lips has touched has its foundations destroyed once you examine the
possibilities. You thus condemn your own lips, and the lips of any woman
who has kissed a man who at some time in his life performed cunnilingus.
Somewhere in-between, you chose only ONE possibility, that of a woman's lips
that have performed cunnilingus.
You would have saved me the time of writing this message if you would
have simply said, "I would not want to kiss a woman who has ever done
anything homosexual." Thanks a lot, buddy.
And REMEMBER - when you kiss somebody, you're not just kissing THAT
PERSON - you're kissing every PERSON that THAT PERSON has EVER KISSED, not
to mention EVERY PUSSY that any of the people in the chain ever TOUCHED
THEIR LIPS TO! THINK ABOUT IT! Goodnight.
