Brilliant! But I don't know that I want to go back to work again.
(Actually, I don't know where I would cram any more activity into my
"leisurely" retired lifestyle.)

Actually, I believe that the boy involved was also 13, not 14.
This incident will no doubt raise yet another cry for stricter gun
controls. Since it has been reported that the boy's parents apparently left
a loaded gun laying on the bed when they left for a trip, leaving the boy
under the eye of a neighbor, what seems to be needed here is not gun
control, but parent control. And I don't mean parentAL control! I mean the
parents needed to have some sense drummed into them, preferably before the
scene could have been set for such a tragedy.
Perhaps the parents should be charged with contributory negligence?

Well, thanks.
It's all true. If you want to LEARN at school, especially high school, you
are considered weird, and subject to much abuse. The system fights to keep
as many live bodies in, as possible, forcing serious students to be mired in
the same useless system of teaching used for those, who, have been turned
off, for whatever reason, to bettering their mind.
The result is that you learn to play their game well, to succeed there, but
you don't learn to LEARN. The best teachers I had chucked the
"requirements" system. Since that is a joke anyway. Education isn't assembly
line, like the legislature thinks.
Some examples:
Physical Education. Yeah, more like: Play competitive sports against other
students, to show those who don't have the skills to play that they are
really useless and should solely rely on their mind.
Where's the EDUCATION part. To me it would mean learning to take care of the
physical side of your being. How to exercise, and feed it for optimal
performance.
History; deals mostly with dates and places, not why's. and how's. Of course
it is boring to a lot of students. Memorizing dates and places just isn't
fun.
Magnet schools
Yes, folks, you want to take computers, or foreign languages other than
French or Spanish, get up an hour early, and get home an hour late.
And risk your life being among people that don't want you there.

Why does everyone ignore the fact that the reason car insurance is so high
is because only 2/3rds of people are paying.

So, if we come up with a good slogan, we can get $.25 royalities per shirt
sold? Hummm.
How about "I am woman: Hear me Bitch".

Personally I love the slogan you suggest. I will make a note of it and run
it by the guys.
Thanks for the 'female' input, it is appreciated. If you happen to see
these shirts on the market then you will get your quarter per.
