Well, the only reason I have to stay in school is to take enough 400 level
courses to meet their damn graduating requirement. It doesn't matter what I
take as long as I have 15 more hours at the 400 level. I'll be glad when
summer is here so that I can work full time, get some writing done and maybe
even work on some other projects that have been put on hold for so long.
Oh, and read some books for fun! I haven't done that in a while.

But this isn't really x-rated material.
FUCK ASU.

Your posts to Zak and Beau demonstrate a patience and forebearance that is
really to be admired and respected Daryl, and I do. Your efforts to explain
the truths of Biblical Christianity were well researched, thought out and
presented. I can only hope that they will be received with the consideration
they deserve.
If I have judged too harshly in my past posts concerning some of Apollo's
users, my sincere apologies are extended to any who may have been offended.
I was merely reacting to some very sarcastic and caustic posts.
I hope and pray that the doubters and scorners will read Daryl's posts with
an open mind and heart, and that they will bring some light and reason to an
area in your lives that seems to have been coveting darkness.
Thank you Daryl, for doing as you have been led to do.

(Sorry for the category. 'Twas a typo.)
Actually, when we compare a 7.9% raise, the first one since 1987 with the
requested increases for APS in the same time frame, it doesn't look all that
bad. Of course, since everything seems to go up except my income, I don't
think too highly of any more increases in my cost of living, but they seem
to be a fact of life, so I'm not going to dwell too much on them.

Thank you for your kind words, Paul. I can't take all the credit though.
I'm not a pillar of patience, as anyone who has known me personally for any
period of time knows. I have a reputation among family and friends for being
a hot-head at times. But I can tell you this much: Jesus is showing me how
to control my temper, and how to "mellow out" in times of stress. And it was
His love for me that gives me the drive to explain and share His love with
others. I'm growing in understanding every day, and I still have a long way
to go. If it wasn't for God, I probably wouldn't be here today. (At least
not the Daryl you know.)

I have trouble (spelling) with conspiracy theories. I prefer to use
Occam's Razor on such things. It seems much more likely that the media
ignores Libertarians because they are not interesting. The most interesting
"Libertarian" we have had in this state is Sam Steiger, who was and is
a very colorful person.

The problem is that people don't want a Libertarian government. They don't
mind paying taxes as long as the gov't provides the services they want for
what appears to be a reasonable price. The government manages to do this by
institutionalizing inflation, and by sneaky "tax-cuts" that somehow never
end up with smaller budgets.

Nevertheless, I think it would be interesting to talk about Libertarianism,
and, since you have volunteered to enter more info, why don't you do so and
maybe we all can learn some more about a real alternative.

There are plenty of cases of lands which rightfully belonged to Indians
being seized by others. Some of these cases are being investigated for
possible action. Your lumping of the general in with the specific to make a
charge against a particular family without evidence is not persuasive as it
stands. Can you make it more persuasive, or not?

I wasn't really making a charge. I was just stating something that I heard
while in the Babbitt employee years ago.

And I guess it really does not matter that much since, as I pointed out,
humans have been pushing and shoving since man took the first step.

I think if the 'white man' turned over all lands seized from Indians then I
don't know where we'd be living.

Really, since my departure with the Army Guard, just about any

I can always trade off with someone.
Wether it be the 21st or the 28th is immaterial as far as my ability

Yes, I have been in the armed services--U.S. Army, Baker Company of the
501st regiment of the 101st Airborne Infantry. Also, served some with
military intelligence. No, was never a hero. No, don't think it is fun to
shoot people; but when circumstances demand it and reason dictates that it
is the prudent, honorable, and correct thing to do, I believe it best to be
able to shoot well enough to avoid return fire. No, I have never been in a
so-called "fire fight." Yes, have been shot at and missed, and was so scared
that my6 return fire was probably not accurate, and my pants were wet. Still
think it is important for Americans to not only bear arms, but know how to
use them.

I think everyone should have military training. I was lucky. I was in
the AF between Korea and VietNam, so I didn't get shot at. However, I
think that the experience of serving your own country is important and
getting your head shaved and learning to live in an unpleasant world
and coping with it is something that a lot of kids today don't know
how to cope with. I think the Army and AF and Navy do a credible job
of teaching people how to shoot. I got out with a Marksman's badge
with the rifle, but couldn't shoot the .45 or .38. Worthless weapons,
if you ask me. Give me a shotgun. Can't miss.

"Give me a shotgun. Can't miss."

Have you had much shotgun practice?
I remember when I first started shooting the shotgun ...... I did miss.
After I was taught how to use this particular weapon and how to properly use
the sights on the shotgun, I became better. It was embarrassing, and rather
mind boggling, to miss a pin right in front of me.
Not only am I proficient with the shotgun, I am aware of the various ammo
limitations .... the distance 00 Buck or #4, for instance, can be shot from
and still maintain adequate stopping power.
Now, for some humble pie confessions ..... I still can not hit a bowling pin
at 50 or 100 Yards with a slug (gettin' there though).

The bill is pure bullcrap. Just another freedom gone flying. If this bill
sticks then watch because there will be more sexual perversion in the near
future...but I think the kids will ignore it so I may be wrong.

Good ole Mother Nature has we human animals ready at around 12 or 13, some
sooner, some later, but my point is that when we are ready we are ready.

Now, the current human social structure says that people are not ready at
that age but at 18-21 at the least.

Because Ma Nature and the ignorant human is out of sync of about 5 years or
so with each other, plenty of sexual problems exist.

Yes kids pet, always have, always will. It gets them ready for parenthood.
Part of my growing up included petting and I must say that many a fond
memory remains with me.

In any case, that's my frank opinion. Anyone for petting?

Sure they exist. They exist just as hammers and screwdrivers exist. They
exist as pints and quarts exist.

Of course each body in the universe has a different year although there are
so very many that the odds of another body with the same period as planet
earth existing are quite good.

But then again we would need Jeff Beck to determine that.

It seems that Jeff and Bob Thornburg took a vacation at the same time. Do
you suppose they are one and the same person?
